Hi Everyone,
On Sunday May 17th, Greenhill Humane Society will hold its most important fundraiser of the year -- "Bark In The Park" -- at Alton Baker Park.
As a Greenhill volunteer and Board member, I am urging you to please join me in a cause, that at its core, is a reflection of our humanity and personally, near and dear to my heart.
Since the beginning of 2009, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of requests for help from our community. Large numbers of animals have been abandoned and many people are in such grave financial situations, they are having to give up their cherished animal friends and companions.
Greenhill strives each day to meet the needs of the animals and people in our community by providing care, comfort, and shelter for these abandoned and surrendered animals while we try and find them loving and "forever" homes.
The current economic reality only highlights the fact that we cannot do it alone -- we need the help of everyone who can afford even the smallest gift.
Please join with me, and the countless number of other volunteers, in supporting our humane society, Greenhill -- by making a pledge!
